Mrs. Koidl, who died Thursday at the Pocono Medical Center here, worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 17 years in Stroudsburg, Marshalls Creek, and the Delaware Water Gap, where she was postmaster, before retiring. Before that, she was a teller at the Kearny (N.J.) Federal Savings and Loan Association for seven years. After 50 years and I still can put a name to a face, that is truly remarkable! I get to Kearny from time to time, I grew up on Elizabeth Avenue, and I think you were on Seely. The streets seem so much narrower now. We played touch football on those streets, and they seemed so big, now forget it, park a few cars on either side, and you cannot get through.
